About Pamela Brown Carroll

I have passion for creating textile art.  I have had a life-long love of working in fabrics, yarns, thread and embellishments to create something beautiful.  Having retired from a thirty-year career as a CPA, I am now enjoying the days relaxing in my studio in the beautiful Sacramento Mountains in New Mexico.  My special interests are designing quilts, crewel embroidery, dying wool yarn and fabric, fabric painting and batik art.  In November 2017 I got my new companion, Brodie, a beautiful Cairn terrier.

As well as designing my own creations, I "rescue" vintage and antique quilts for my collection, from which I draw inspiration.  I want my art to bring joy to others as my Grandmother's and Great-grandmothers' quilts have over the generations.
